This week's new releases feature information on newly published comics. Approximately 290 major comic titles will be released between May 25th and 30th. Volume 2 of "Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Eternal Wind," a manga based on the theatrical anime "Mobile Suit Gundam F91," will be released. This manga is by Junji Ohno, who also worked on "Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Prequel," and depicts the "main story of F91" based on the novel and anime by director Yoshiyuki Tomino. The final 31st volume of "Honey Lemon Soda," which ended its approximately 11-year serialization in April of this year, will also be released.
On May 25th, several new manga volumes will be released, including "Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Eternal Wind" Volume 2, the final 31st volume of "Honey Lemon Soda," "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: Silver Phantom Gravure" Volume 1, a manga adaptation of the popular anime "Gundam" series VR video "Mobile Suit Gundam: Phantom of Silver Gray," "Tokimeki Tonight: And Then" Volume 6, a new chapter of Koi Ikeno's popular shojo manga "Tokimeki Tonight," and "A Star Brighter Than the Sun" Volume 14, for which a second season of the anime has been announced.
On May 27th, volumes 11 of "Onii-chan wa Oshimai!" (which has been adapted into a TV anime), volume 21 of "Youkai Gakkou A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!), and volume 5 of "Ichijouma Mankitsu Gurashi!" (Ichijouma Mankitsu Gurashi!, which has been airing as a TV anime since April) will be released.
On May 28th, volume 9 of "DOUBLE HELIX BLOSSOM," a manga series written by Asaura, known for his story concept for the popular anime "Lycoris Recoil," will be released.
On May 29th, several manga volumes will be released, including volume 20 of "Fuuto Tantei," a sequel to the tokusatsu drama "Kamen Rider W"; volume 16 of "Owakare Hospital," which also has a popular live-action drama adaptation; volume 4 of "Doubutsu Ningen," which depicts a "human farm" where humans are treated like livestock; and volume 118 of the long-running series "Tsuribaka Nisshi."
