The 15th episode of "Detective Precure!", the 23rd installment of the popular anime "Precure" series, titled "The Secret of Moria Ruruka," will air on ABC TV and TV Asahi on May 10th at 8:30 AM.
A letter arrived from the Cure Detective Agency in London, revealing that Cure Arcana Shadow's true identity was a girl named Ruruka Mori, a genius detective who had solved numerous difficult cases in London in the past. Based on the letter, Anna and the others head to the lake where the Makoto Jewel supposedly shattered six months ago to investigate. When they reach near the water intake tower, Ruruka appears, but leaves immediately after saying, "What do you want to do with that information?"
To find out for themselves why Ruruka is with the Phantom Thieves, Anna and the others use a Pre-Kit Mirror Loupe to examine the water intake tower and discover a tattered piece of paper that might hold a clue. However, at that moment, Pochitan senses the presence of Makoto Jewel. Led by Pochitan, they hurry to the forest near the lake and find Shota Utsumi, a photographer they had met at a wedding venue before, in distress because his precious camera has disappeared.
The motif of "Detective Precure!" is "detective," and the theme is "seeing, feeling, and thinking for yourself to find the 'real' answer." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in need," and guided by a mysterious power, the main character time-slips from the present day of 2027 to 1999. A story of new encounters, friendships, and growth for the Precure transcends time.
Hikari Chiga will appear as Cure Answer/Anna Akechi, Kaede Hondo as Cure Mystic/Mikuru Kobayashi, and Nao Toyama as Cure Arcana Shadow/Ruruka Mori. It has also been announced that the mysterious Pretty Cure Cure Eclair, whose true identity is unknown, will make an appearance.
