NHK's morning information program " Asaichi " (NHK General, Monday-Friday 8:15 AM), hosted by the comedy duo "Hakata Hanamaru-Daikichi" and announcer Naoko Suzuki, will air a special Caster on April 30th titled "Long Holiday! Let's Relax in Ishigaki Island, Okinawa ☆ SP".
On the same day, we'll be touring Ishigaki Island, a currently very popular resort destination. We'll enjoy the setting of the drama "Churasan" and the quintessential Okinawan scenery. We'll also introduce a mysterious Okinawa-only gourmet food with a shelf life of only 3 hours! What is "Achikoko"? And we'll reveal the secret to a satisfying second life for only 1% of people who have moved from Tokyo! We'll also introduce Ishigaki Island's exquisite natural mozuku seaweed.
In addition, there will be a live broadcast from Otake City, Hiroshima Prefecture. In the "Everyone! It's Time to Eat" segment, chef Harumi Kurihara will be the instructor, and they will be making "Harumi Kurihara Style! Grilled Mackerel Sushi with Dried Mackerel."
