75-year-old singer Linda Yamamoto will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which airs on May 1st at 1 PM.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of their debut. They perform nearly 100 shows a year, and they make sure to diligently maintain their physical fitness every day.
After debuting as a child model, she began her singing career at the age of 15. She reveals the story behind the creation of her debut song "Komacchau Na," released in 1966, including her encounter with her mentor, composer Minoru Endo, and performs it passionately in the studio. She also shares anecdotes about her husband, with whom she is celebrating her silver wedding anniversary this year.
