NHK's morning information program " Asaichi " (NHK General, Monday-Friday 8:15 AM), Caster by the comedy duo "Hakata Hanamaru-Daikichi" and announcer Naoko Suzuki, will air a "Premium Talk: Somegoro Ichikawa" episode on April 24th.
On the same day, Ichikawa Somegoro, a young prince poised to carry the future of Kabuki, makes his first appearance on the program! His rival and comrade-in-arms, Kabuki actor Ichikawa Danko, also known as the "Somedan duo," appears via video to talk about Somegoro's true personality. A popular screenwriter also makes an appearance. One of the personalities even reveals that his favorite TV program is "Year-End and New Year's Eve"! The program also includes coverage of Somegoro's rehearsal space as he takes on his innovative "Hamlet."
The "Special Selection! Entertainment" segment will feature a live studio performance by the two-member music unit "GLIM SPANKY." The "Everyone! It's Green!" segment will welcome Haruko Nagae as an instructor and challenge viewers to "Enjoy the Scent! Lavender."
