All semi-final matches (four matches: 1st and 2nd legs) of the UEF Champions League, the football tournament that determines Europe's number one club, and the final on May 31st will be screened as public viewings at Aeon Cinemas nationwide. Regarding the semi-finals, WOWOW, which has the exclusive right to broadcast the Champions League live, has announced details such as the theaters where the screenings will take place.
The public viewing events, featuring live commentary and analysis, will be held at Aeon Cinema Itabashi (Itabashi Ward, Tokyo) for the first leg of the Paris Saint-Germain vs. Bayern Munich semi-final on April 29th and the second leg of the Arsenal vs. Atletico Madrid semi-final on May 6th.
On April 29th, former Japan national football team player Shunsuke Nakamura will appear, and on May 6th, football commentator Ryohei Hayashi will appear. This will be Nakamura's first appearance at a public viewing, and a video of his comments has been released on WOWOW's official YouTube channel. In addition, the audio of the live commentary and analysis at Aeon Cinema Itabashi will be broadcast to Aeon Cinemas nationwide.
