An event for the Super Sentai series "Shuriken Sentai Ninninger," which aired from 2015 to 2016, will be held on July 29th at Tokyo Dome City Theater G Rosso (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo). The six original cast members, Shunsuke Nishikawa, Gaku Matsumoto, Kaito Nakamura, Yuka Yano, Kasumi Yamaya, and Tomoyuki Tawada, will be reuniting for the event.
"Shuriken Sentai Ninninger" is the 39th installment in the Super Sentai series. It depicts the five grandchildren of Igasaki Yoshitaka, the strongest ninja in history, who was hailed as the "Last Ninja," becoming the "Ninningers" and using "Shuriken Ninjutsu" to defeat monsters that attack people.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the TV series' broadcast, a special one-day event will be held. Titled "Shuriken Sentai Ninninger: Celebrating 10 Years! A Grand Gathering in Midsummer! at Theater G-Rosso," the event will feature the original cast and will include a live commentary screening of selected footage from the TV series, along with behind-the-scenes stories that can only be heard there.
