It has been announced that season 4 of Prime Video's dating reality show "The Bachelorette Japan" will be exclusively streamed to Prime members starting at 8 PM on May 1st. The fourth Bachelorette, a beautiful and talented single woman, has been chosen as Rina Hiramatsu, a model and influencer. At 26 years old, Hiramatsu will be the youngest Bachelorette in the series' history.
"The Bachelorette Japan" is a gender-reversed version of the popular dating reality show "The Bachelor Japan." One Bachelorette chooses her destined partner from among many male participants in search of "true love." Season 1 was released in 2020, Season 2 in 2022, and Season 3 in 2024, and the serious romances between the Bachelorette and the male participants, along with the shocking twists and emotional dramas that defy expectations, have become a hot topic on social media.
Hirama, the fourth Bachelorette, is trilingual, having lived in Singapore, New York, and the UK from the age of 7 to 20. In an interview video released on Prime Video's social media, she playfully says, "Objectively speaking, I think I'm popular," but also states that due to her global lifestyle, "I've never been in a formal relationship."
The studio MCs will be Koji Imada, Rino Sashihara, and Hiroshi Yamazaki of "Aiseki Start." Imada said, "The fourth Bachelorette, Ms. Hiramatsu, is young but has a strong sense of self, and her decisiveness is remarkable. I want to wholeheartedly support her as she finds true love. Please look forward to the surprising developments that have not been seen in previous seasons!" The series will consist of 9 episodes in total, with the first 4 episodes being released in the first week.
