" Bakebake ," the NHK Asadora drama series starring Akari Takaishi (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), will air a recap of its final week (Week 25), "It's scary, but it's wonderful," (March 23-27) on March 28th.
" Bakebake" is the 113th Asadora . Based on the lives of Lafcadio Hearn Yakumo Koizumi and his wife Setsu, it tells the story of a married couple, a heroine who loves ghost stories, and her ordinary daily life with her foreign husband.
In the final week, "KWAIDAN," a book written by Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven ( Tommy Bastow), arrives from America. The family is filled with happiness, but a few days later, Heaven's health suddenly deteriorates, and he passes away. Meanwhile, Eliza (Charlotte Kate Fox) arrives from America.
As Joe (played by Sugita Rairin), who happened to be there, acts as interpreter, Toki and Eliza mourn Heaven's passing. Toki is shaken when Eliza tells him about the reputation of "KWAIDAN" in America. When Eliza learns that Toki was the reason Heaven wrote "KWAIDAN," she...
Toki is asked by Eliza to write about Heaven, and although he is depressed that he has ruined Heaven's life, he eventually begins to recount his memories of Heaven while being watched over by Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe) and Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki)... and that's how the story unfolds.
