The eighth episode of the popular TBS Sunday drama "Reboot," starring Ryohei Suzuki, aired on March 15th (Sundays at 9 PM). The episode revealed the circumstances behind Suzuki's character, Gido, confessing to stealing goods worth 10 billion yen, which became a hot topic on social media, with many commenting, "The real Gido is so cool."

In episode 6, Gido and Ichika (Erika Toda) accused each other of being the culprits behind the 10 billion yen heist in front of Goroku (Yukiya Kitamura). However, Goroku declared that it would be better to get rid of Hayase (Suzuki). Panicked, Ichika pleaded to be allowed to talk with Gido.
In the storage unit, Ichika asks Gido for a favor, saying, "I have a favor to ask of you." After their discussion, Gido reveals that he is the one who stole 10 billion yen and attempts to fight back, but is shot and killed.
In episode 8, the details of the conversation between Ichika and Gido were revealed.
When Ichika was alone with Gido, she revealed her true identity, saying, "I have a favor to ask of you. Once I get out of here, I will confess that I am the culprit. If I am killed, this situation will be resolved for the time being. After I die, I want you to help Hayase Riku. I am Hayase Natsumi."
"You...rebooted?" Gido asked, unable to hide his surprise. Ichika replied regretfully, "These are all pictures drawn by Goroku. If my husband finds out who I really am, he'll be killed, so don't tell him. Please take care of Riku (Hayase)."
Afterward, Gido and Ichika returned to Goroku. When Goroku asked them where the 10 billion yen was, Gido reversed his previous claims and declared, "I did it!"
