It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "The Most Powerful, Villainous, Last Boss Queen Who Becomes the Source of Tragedy Will Serve the People (Last Name)," based on the light novel by Tenichi, which originated on the novel submission website "Let's Become a Novelist," will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels from April 7th. Key visuals featuring new characters Leon and Cedric, who will play an active role in the second season, as well as Stiyl, Tiara, and Arthur, have also been released. It has also been revealed that Suzuki Ryota will play Harrison, the captain of the 8th Division, an individualistic and completely meritocratic unit within the Freesia Kingdom Knights.
It was also announced that the band Retroriron will be in charge of the opening theme "Ego" and the band Garakuta will be in charge of the ending theme "Tarareba."
The story is about a "high-spec villain princess who avoids the final boss fantasy" in which Pride, the evil queen who torments her country and people in the otome game "A Ray of Light with You," relies on memories from her past life to avoid the upcoming tragedy and create a world where all the characters can be happy. She changes the story within the game and does her best for her country and her people. The light novel is published by Ichijinsha Bunko Iris NEO (Ichijinsha). The first season of the anime aired from July to September 2023.
