It has been announced that the fourth season of the TV anime "Welcome to the Classroom of the Elite," based on the light novel from MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA), "4th Season: 2nd Year Edition, 1st Semester," will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from April 1st. The second promotional video has also been released, depicting the intertwining of various characters' intentions, with Ayanokoji and his friends now in their second year, and new students hiding among the White Room assassins. It has also been announced that Eir Aoi will be performing the opening theme "MONSTER," and ZAQ will be performing the ending theme "Liar Veil."
"Welcome to the Classroom of the Elite" is based on a light novel written by Kinugasa Shougo and illustrated by Tomose Shunsaku. Set at Advanced Nurturing High School, one of the most prestigious schools in the country where meritocracy is the highest priority, the series follows the school life of protagonist Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, who is assigned to the lowest class, and his classmate Horikita Suzune, a beautiful girl with excellent grades but a very difficult personality. The series has sold over 11.1 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2017, the second season from July to September 2022, and the third season from January to March 2024.
