The sixth episode of the NHK Taiga drama "Toyotomi Brothers!" (General TV, Sunday 8pm and other times), starring actor Nakano Taiga, titled "Brotherly Bonds," aired on February 15th. In the preview for the next episode after the main story, there was a scene in which Nao, played by Shiraishi Sei, appears unsteady, which caught the attention of viewers.
"Toyotomi Brothers!" is the 65th taiga drama. It is a success story of hope and dreams, depicting the miracle of the Toyotomi brothers, Hidenaga (Koichiro) and his older brother Hideyoshi (Tokichiro), who achieve the great feat of unifying the country with their strong bond.
The subtitle of the next episode, the 7th, is "A Desperate Fortress Construction Operation" and will be broadcast on February 22nd.
Fujiyoshiro (Ikematsu Sosuke) and Nene (Hamabe Minami) are now happily married. However, on the day of their wedding, Nao (Shiraishi) announces that she is going back to Nakamura, leaving Koichiro (Nakano) confused.
Meanwhile, as Nobunaga (Oguri Shun) launches an attack on Mino, Tokichiro volunteers to capture the strategic location of Sunomata. Koichiro comes up with a secret plan for the attack, but to put it into practice he needs the cooperation of the Kawanami clan, who control the border between Owari and Mino. The two ask the head of the Kawanami clan, Hachisuka Masakatsu (Takahashi Tsutomu), and Maeno Nagayasu (Shibuya Kento), an Oda retainer who is on friendly terms with them, to act as intermediaries... and so the story unfolds.
The preview also showed Nao suddenly becoming unsteady and almost falling over, which caused viewers to react with comments such as, "What's wrong with Nao?" and "Wait, what's wrong with Nao-chan?". Various comments were made, such as, "Nao-san is pregnant," "Nao-san's condition in the preview for the next episode made me think she might be pregnant, but is that really the case?", "Nao-san, is it a baby or is she sick...?", "This doesn't seem like a happy development," "This is something serious," "Could Nao-chan be forced to leave the show due to illness...?" and "And so Nao-chan's flag is..."
