A new visual featuring all 17 characters from the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring Suzuki Ryohei, was released on February 15th, but the appearance of Kaieda (played by Sakamoto Yoshi), who appears to have been "erased," has become a hot topic on social media. Meanwhile, the absence of a character from the character relationship chart has also attracted attention from the "analysis team."
The visual features 17 main cast members, including Gido/Hayase (Suzuki), Kogo Ichika (Toda Erika), Fuyuhashi Wataru (Nagase Ren), Kiriya Naoto (Fujisawa Suzuka), Makita Masachika (Ito Hideaki), Gido Mayu (Kuroki Meisa), Gouroku Wataru (Kitamura Yukiya), and Hayase before the reboot (Matsuyama Kenichi). It also includes meaningful lines such as "You're not my husband," "This is where the real reboot begins," "The crime of betraying the people is grave," and "I'll change this world."
Amidst all this, what attracted attention was the appearance of Kaieda (played by Sakamuki Yoshi), who was thought to have been purged for embezzling 1 billion yen and had also disappeared from the relationship chart on the official website. His line, "I'll work, I'll work, I'll give my life for Goroku-san!", was also added, and viewers commented, "I'm curious to see Kaieda-san there."
On the other hand, some people are suspicious of the absence of Ando, the executive played by Tsuda Atsuhiro from "Diane," who was purged in the first episode and hasn't appeared since, but remains on the official website's character relationship chart. There are also characters who are on the character relationship chart but not in the visuals, such as Kuwabara (Noro Kayo), who performed Hayase's plastic surgery, and Kikuchi (Tsukaji Muga), a senior member of an underground organization.
In Suzuki Ryohei's official X account, updated on the 15th, Suzuki commented on the fourth episode, which aired that same day, saying, "I wonder if Diane Tsuda, who plays Ando, will reappear..." This deepens the mystery even further.
