The third episode of the popular TBS Sunday Theatre "Reboot" (Sundays at 9:00 PM), starring Suzuki Ryohei, aired on February 1st. Discussions on social media have been accelerating regarding a comment made by Mayu, the wife of Gido, played by Kuroki Meisa, at the end of the episode.

Mayu appears in front of Hayase Riku (Suzuki) disguised as Gido many times and insists that she has no intention of breaking up. When Hayase tells her, "You're not my wife," Mayu replies, "I know. You're not my husband."
Mayu, who said she had felt something was off about Hayase from the beginning, pointed out, "You're Hayase Riku, aren't you?" Furthermore, she revealed that she had received a phone call from Gido, and confidently said, "That wasn't you, it was the real Gido," and the broadcast ended.
On social media, the story became a hot topic, with comments such as, "Isn't this a shocking development? It's so sharp," "I guess you can't fool your wife after all. But even so, is it possible that Gido is still alive?" and "Gido, who called Mayu, thinks that Ichika (Toda Erika) just changed her voice."

The drama is a suspense story about Hayase Riku, who is framed for the murder of his wife, abandoning his family and past to reboot himself as a corrupt detective, Gido, and pursue the real culprit. The script is written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who has worked on many hit Sunday Theatre dramas such as "Grand Maison Tokyo," "TOKYO MER: Running Emergency Room," and "My Family."
