New characters, Code Numbers Three, Five, and Six, have been announced for the special effects drama "Kamen Rider Zeztz" (TV Asahi, Sunday 9:00 AM). They are veteran agents of the top-secret defense organization "CODE," and were shown in the "new chapter visual" released the other day, but now details have been revealed. They will be played by Tamaki Yuki, Koyanagi Shin, and Hirakawa Yuzuki, respectively.
Code Number Three, played by Tamaki, is an agent who serves as commander in place of the destroyed Zero (voice: Kabira Jiei), and is a ruthless man who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Tamaki, who has been active in stage plays and musicals, is appearing in his first special effects production, and he expressed his joy, saying, "It feels like a dream to be able to take part in a work with the historic Kamen Rider series. And I never thought I would be able to 'disguise' myself... I really don't know whether it's a dream or reality. PS: I was a big fan of 'Kamen Rider BLACK RX'."
Code Number: Five, played by Koyanagi, is a rough-and-tumble agent who calls himself "CODE's watchdog." He is tenacious and never lets his targets escape. Koyanagi appears in the Super Sentai series "Batarou Sentai Don Brothers" (2022-2023) as the enemy executive Sonoroku, and said enthusiastically, "I think of myself as having 'promoted' from Sonoroku to Five, and from 6 to 5. Maybe one day I'll become 1... I intend to keep on working hard, dreaming of that!"
Hirakawa's role as Code Number Six is Miyamoto Kureha, a high school friend of Nasuka Nagumo Nasuka (played by Rina Onuki), a detective in the Mysterious Incidents Division. After meeting Kamen Rider Zeztz/ Baku Yorozu(played by Ryutaro Imai), she regains her memories of being an agent and decides to return to the organization. Hirakawa, who played Papillon Oger/Rita Kaniska in the Super Sentai series "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger" (2023-2024), is appearing in a special effects film for the first time in about two years. "This time, as an agent, I'm taking on action scenes with guns, and I'm also disguised. It was very thrilling. It's a different feeling from when I was wearing the "King Oger" armor in "King-Ohger."
Zeztz/Mo, who has doubts about CODE but throws himself into the battle to save the "Dream Owner," Nox (Yuki Furukawa) and The Lady (Rie Mimura), who aim to destroy CODE, CODE agents who act to protect the organization, and Nightmare, the enemy who plots to invade the real world using people's nightmares as a gateway. The story escalates as the four-way melee continues.
