It has been announced that the Kanagawa Red Cross The Dangers in My Heart The Dangers in My Heart, " based on the popular manga by Norio Sakurai, which is currently being serialized on Akita Shoten's manga site, Manga Cross. The first 1,500 people to donate blood at blood donation sites in Kanagawa Prefecture between February 1st and March 31st and sign up to participate in the campaign will receive a special A4 clear file. The clear file features a visual of the series' protagonist, Kyotaro Ichikawa, holding a placard that reads "We want to spread blood donation," along with heroine Anna Yamada and Kyotaro's older sister, Kana Ichikawa, all dressed in Red Cross colors.
The film will be made up of re-edited footage from the TV anime, as well as brand new footage of what happened after the second season and that moment between Ichikawa and Yamada. It will be released on February 13th.
"The Dangers in My Heart" began serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) in 2018 and is currently being serialized in Champion Cross (same publisher). It's a youthful romantic comedy about Kyotaro Ichikawa, a nerdy boy with a chunibyo syndrome, and Anna Yamada, a beautiful, outgoing girl at the top of the school's social hierarchy. It's gained popularity, ranking in the "This Kono Manga ga Sugoi!" men's edition for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021, and winning first place in the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards 2020 in 2020. The manga has sold over 7 million copies. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season aired from January to March 2024 on TV Asahi's late-night anime slot, NUMAnimation.
