A scene from episode 51, "Sucking the Reed," of the TV anime " Jujutsu Kaisen ," based on the popular manga by Gege Akutami that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), has been released. It features Maki Zenin, Zenin Mai, Zenin Naoya, and Zenin Sen, Maki and Mai's father. A character visual for Maki Zenin has also been released.
In episode 51, each of them begins to take action to put an end to the Culling Game. Maki goes to the Zen'in household to retrieve cursed items in order to strengthen her fighting force in order to join the Culling Game. Despite being insulted by Naoya and her mother's warnings, Maki heads to the forbidden storehouse. When she opens the door to the forbidden storehouse, she finds the bloodied Mai and her father, Zen'in Ougi, in place of the empty contents.
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from March 2018 to September 2024. The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses when a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed. The comic series has sold over 150 million copies worldwide. The third season of the anime, "Culling Game Part 1," is currently airing on the MBS/TBS anime block "Super Animeism TURBO."
