It has been announced that "FX Warrior Kurumi-chan," a manga about FX (foreign exchange margin trading) currently serialized in "Monthly Comic Flapper" (KADOKAWA), will be adapted into a TV anime in 2026. The manga is based on a story by Demunyan and illustrated by Tansan Daisuki, and follows university student Fukuga Kurumi as she makes her FX debut and takes on the money game in order to recover the 20 million yen her late mother "lost" in FX. The anime will be directed by Ogawa Yuki and produced by Passione. It has also been announced that voice actress Suzuki Aina will play the main character, Fukuga Kurumi.
The "regular version" visual, which depicts Fukuga Kurumi enjoying FX, and the "forced loss cut version" visual, which depicts her in despair after suffering a huge loss, have been released. A teaser PV featuring Kurumi has also been released.
Demunyan commented, "FX Warrior Kurumi-chan has miraculously been made into an anime...! I'm so grateful to all the readers who supported me and to all the people involved who worked so hard...! I'm overwhelmed with emotion...! This is an FX story born from my negative energy, but I wonder what kind of anime it will be...? I'm really looking forward to it...!"
Tansan Daisuki said, "Thank you so much for always warmly supporting our work. We have now decided to make an anime version of 'FX Warrior Kurumi-chan'! We are able to deliver it in this new form thanks to the support and feedback of each and every reader, as well as the accumulation of readers who turn the pages of every episode. We are truly grateful. The production staff are currently working with great enthusiasm, and we are confident that the work will be filled with new charms that can only be found in anime. Please look forward to the start of the broadcast. We hope you will continue to support 'FX Warrior Kurumi-chan'."
Suzuki said, "There aren't many manga or anime that deal with FX, are there?! When I read the original work, I learned for the first time what FX is and realized that it is an incredibly terrifying thing. The illustrations are incredibly cute, but the content is violent in a way...! Sitting alone at a desk, in the silence, your hands trembling with tension, in a space where only the sound of your own heartbeat echoes, a movement of 0.1 yen can make you laugh or cry, it can mean heaven or hell. Depending on how you do it, it can even determine the person's life. I will do my best to bring you a world of FX that is so realistic it will make you sweat!"
