To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the TV anime " Assassination Classroom ," based on the popular manga by Yusei Matsui , the second season of the TV anime is being rebroadcast on Fuji TV and other networks. The creditless opening and ending videos have been released on YouTube.
The rebroadcast is heading towards the climax of the series with Korosensei and his students. The opening video vividly depicts the tense countdown to the Earth's destruction and the students' unwavering determination, while the new song "Setsuna Blossom" by the anime's voice actor unit "Class 3-E Utatan" plays. The ending video features the song "Spica" by the rock band "Kaeri no Kai," creating an emotional finish that evokes a warmth that cherishes the journey Class 3-E has taken so far, and a ray of hope that shines in the night sky.
" Assassination Classroom" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from July 2012 to March 2016. The story revolves around Korosensei, a mysterious creature who evaporated 70% of the moon, becoming the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Middle School, a school full of dropouts, and the students attempting to assassinate him.
The TV anime aired from January to June 2015 and January to June 2016, and the film "Assassination Classroom: 365 Days of Time," a compilation of the TV anime and new original episodes, was released in 2016. The spin-off, "Korosensei Q (Quest)!", was also made into an anime. A live-action film starring Hey! Say! JUMP's Ryosuke Yamada was also released.
As part of the anime's 10th anniversary project, a brand new movie, "Assassination Classroom: Everybody's Time," will be released on March 20th. Episodes that have never been made into films before will be made into completely new anime.
