" Subaru and Subaru " by Shuichi Shigeno, known for manga such as " Initial D" and "MF Ghost ," will appear in color on the front page of the sixth issue of the serialized magazine "Young Magazine" (Kodansha), which goes on sale on January 5th.
This manga follows " Initial D" and its "successor," "MF Ghost." The story follows the year after Takumi Fujiwara's student, Kanata Rivington, dominated the MFG street race, as Subaru Sato from Gunma and Comet Kudo from Kanagawa both fuel their fighting spirit to take on the challenge. The worlds of "Initial D" and "MF Ghost" come together to depict the "legend of the true fastest car on public roads" created by the two "Subarus."
The first volume of the comic, released in November last year, and the simultaneously released "Initial D Official Character Book" and "MF Ghost Official Character Book" (same publisher) are said to be selling well, and the second volume will be released in March. The cover of this issue features Nagi Inoue of the idol group " Nogizaka46 ."
