Minami Umezawa is full of energy after appearing in the Red and White Song Festival for the 11th consecutive year: "I want to give a performance that conveys my gratitude"

Idol group Nogizaka46 appeared at the rehearsal for the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, held at the NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo on December 28th. Umezawa Minami said, "This year marks our 11th time appearing as a group. We're really motivated to be able to appear for 11 years in a row."

When they heard that they would be appearing in the Kohaku Uta Gassen, they said, "We all cried and hugged each other in joy," and expressed their enthusiasm, saying, "Kohaku is a special place for us, so we'll all do our best on the day to give a performance that conveys our feelings and gratitude for being able to appear for the 11th consecutive year."

The theme of the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen is "Connecting, Connecting, New Year's Eve," and it will be hosted by Hiroiki Ariyoshi, Haruka Ayase, Mio Imada, and announcer Naoko Suzuki. It will be broadcast from 7:20 pm to 11:45 pm on December 31st (with some news breaks).
