It has been announced that Ace of Ace of Diamond actII -Second Season-, a sequel to the TV anime Ace of Ace of Diamond actII, based on the second part of the popular baseball manga Ace of Diamond of Diamond by Yuji Terajima , will begin airing on TV Tokyo and other networks in April 2026. This will be the first sequel in about six years to the TV anime Ace of Diamond actII, which aired from April 2019 to March 2020. The key visual, which features Eijun Sawamura, Satoru Furuya, and Kazuya Miyuki with expressions overflowing with fighting spirit, and the first promotional video, which shows the members of the Seidou baseball team standing on the field, have been released.
The anime's official website has released an introduction and character pages for all 40 characters. Character visuals for Sawamura, Furuya, and Miyuki have been updated, as well as introductions for all characters.
The TV anime series to date will be available on YouTube from midnight on December 24th, for a limited time until January 6th, 2026.
"Ace of Diamond" began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) in 2006. The second part, "Ace of Diamond act II," ran in the same magazine from 2015 to 2022. The story follows the protagonist, Eijun Sawamura, who enrolls in Seidou High School, a prestigious high school baseball team, and aims to reach the national top of high school baseball alongside Kazuya Miyuki, Satoru Furuya Haruichi Kominato on the baseball team.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2013 to March 2015, the second season from April 2015 to March 2016, and "act II" from April 2019 to March 2020.
