Actress Keiko Kitagawa will appear in the January issue of the handicraft magazine "COTTON TIME" (Shufunotomosha), which will be released on December 5th.
The magazine is currently serializing "Keiko Kitagawa's Blissful Handmade." This time, she tried embroidery for the first time, creating a cat body pillow. Kitagawa seems to have become so hooked that she commented, "Embroidery is like a swamp."
Kitagawa-san often makes fabric accessories and clothes by hand with a sewing machine, but she reveals that she likes hand sewing, embroidery, and other tasks that get her hands moving without thinking. She also talks about her desire to try her hand at hand-made work, saying that she would like to try knitting as well as patchwork, which involves joining together small scraps of fabric.
