The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan, " starring Mio Imada , which aired its final episode in September, will be broadcast on the general channel from 7:20 a.m. on December 30th. The four-part series, spanning approximately three hours, looks back on the "story of love and courage" of the heroine Nobu (Imada) and her husband Takashi Yanai(Takumi Kitamura).
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu Komatsu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." This "story of love and courage" will make you feel the joy of living welling up from your whole being, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
The special episodes will also be rebroadcast on the same day from 10:22 a.m. on General TV. There will be four special episodes in total: the first is "Ken-chan's Proposal," starring Kentaro Karashima played by Fumiya Takahashi ; the second is "Meiko's First Stage," starring Nanoka Hara as Meiko; the third is "Men's March," starring Takuya Ise played by Motoki Omori ; and the fourth is "The Inheritance," starring Nakao Hoshiko played by Furukawa Kotone.
The first episode of the compilation will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 7:20am to 8:04am on December 30th, the second from 8:04am to 8:48am on the same day, the third from 8:48am to 9:32am on the same day, and the fourth from 9:32am to 10:16am on the same day.
