It has been announced that Yoko Shogenji and Kaho Fujishima of the idol group Hinatazaka46 will be appearing on TV Asahi's monthly variety show "Barabara Monthly" (Monday to Thursday, 2:55 a.m. *excluding some areas) in the segment "Late Night, Emo Walk for Two," which will be broadcast late on Tuesday nights in November.
This is a talk show in which two people with a special relationship, such as rivals who have competed fiercely or best friends who share a strong bond, talk while taking a walk through the city late at night.
The first and second weeks will feature Honda Taimu and Hamakawa Michiki, finalists on the much talked about audition program "timelesz project" (Taipro) and currently active as "ROIROM." They will talk while walking around Ariake, with their destination being Ariake Arena (Koto Ward, Tokyo), where they are about to hold their first solo concert.
Masamoto and Fujishima will appear in the third and fourth weeks. Starting at Yokohama Stadium (Naka Ward, Yokohama), where the live concert was held, they head to the location where the music video for their 11th single, "Kimi wa Honeydew," in which Masamoto was the center, and they open up about how they felt at the time.
Masagenji commented, "I was able to ask Fujishima the questions I had and the things I wanted to know, and I was happy to hear from him what he had actually been thinking during that period. It was a little embarrassing at times (laughs), but I was very happy to have had this opportunity."
Fujishima reflected on the location shoot, saying, "We were together but we didn't really touch on each other's feelings, and after about a year we can now calmly talk about sensitive topics and laugh about them. I think that shows how much we've grown, and it made me very happy. I hope that our fans will also feel emotional about it."
