The synopsis and stills for episode 4 of the drama series "Shumaku no Rondo" starring Tsuyoshi Kusanagi (Kantele/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10pm) which will be broadcast on November 3rd, have been released.
Koharu (Jun Fubuki) collapses in front of Itsuki (Kusanagi). As the unconscious Koharu is taken to the hospital in the ambulance, Itsuki calls her "Shun-san" and holds her hand. Itsuki realizes that Koharu still has feelings for the man who seems to be Makoto's (Yuri Nakamura) father.
When Toshihito (Jun Kaname) rushes to the hospital, he is unaware that his mother-in-law has terminal pancreatic cancer, and is left feeling humiliated. Makoto is confused as her husband, who is clearly in a bad mood, stands behind her. Itsuki greets Toshihito, but when Toshihito learns that Itsuki is the person sorting out his belongings, he only says a formal greeting and quickly leaves the hospital room.
Kaito (Akihisa Shiono), Yuzuha (Yagi Rikako), and Aoi (Ozawa Ryushin) visit the room of their late son, Inaba Daisuke (Kawai Ryo), who had aspired to become a comedian despite his parents' objections. They discover that his strict father, Inaba Hiroki (Rokupei Naomasa), who was the principal of an elementary school in their hometown, has thoroughly removed all items related to comedy from his belongings. His grief at losing his son turns to anger, and he is mercilessly attacked by the estate sorting team...
The script is by Miyuki Takahashi. This is a human drama about Itsuki Torikai, a single-parent estate organizer raising a young child, who, together with his colleagues at the estate organizer company, works closely with families facing various challenges.
