The 11th episode of the NHK morning drama " Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and other Asadora ), starring Akari Takaishi as the heroine, was broadcast on October 13th. In the episode, Toki (Takaishi) and Ginjiro ( Kanichiro) begin their married life, and viewers expressed concern about Ginjiro's overly nice personality.
In the 11th episode, Ginjiro marries into the Matsuno family and begins his married life with Toki. Toki is completely smitten with Ginjiro, who loves ghost stories, and works hard at his factory, hanging up pictures of the yokai "Azukiarai" (a bean-washing monster) that she believes resembles Ginjiro.
Meanwhile, Ginjiro has started working as a porter, telling Toki, "It's a tough job, but I'm surrounded by good people, so I think I can make it somehow." Toki apologizes, saying that he's originally from a samurai family, but Ginjiro replies, "It's mutual," and explains how he wanted to leave home as soon as possible because he hated his father's insistence on being a samurai despite being poor, and how he's grateful that he was able to cut off his topknot thanks to Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe).
After the family has fallen asleep, Ginjiro tells Toki a ghost story. After they get into bed, Ginjiro holds Toki's hand as he lies next to him, but Toki says, "Sorry. Let's go to sleep." When Ginjiro apologizes, Toki replies, "Ah, that's not it... I'm watching..." Toki's grandfather, Kan'emon (Fumiyo Kohinata), has been in bed, staring intently at the two of them.
Thanks to the hardworking Ginjiro, the Matsuno family's life becomes a little easier, and both Kan'emon and Tsukasanosuke have high hopes for Ginjiro, the heir to the family. However, when Moriyama (Iwatani Kenji), a debt collector, comes to the Matsuno family and takes most of their earnings, Ginjiro is shocked to learn for the first time that the Matsuno family is in enormous debt. Despite this, Ginjiro doesn't complain once and looks forward, saying, "In that case...wouldn't it be better if I took on more work?" Later, when Ginjiro is scheduled to wrestle with Tsukasanosuke, he shows his consideration by deliberately losing.
Comments on social media included, "He's such a nice guy...", "He's a really good son-in-law, but it's his overly serious nature that worries me," "I'm so worried about Ginjiro, who has to take care of all sorts of things and whose work takes up so much of his energy...!", "I can already see the anxiety that he's being pushed too hard...", "I didn't know he had so much debt...", "Isn't this just stressful... no matter how well they get along," "He's such a good son-in-law... won't it explode one day?", "There are ominous signs being raised for the son-in-law," and "It's painful to imagine a future where he'll just have to run away from debt hell."
