The first episode of the drama "When I Was Young, There Was a God" (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm), starring actor Kitamura Yukiya and co-starring Nakama Yukie, aired on October Getsuku. The son of Ogura Wataru (Kitamura) and his wife Ann (Nakama), played by Kotaki Nozomu of the popular group WEST., Jun, became a hot topic, with people saying he was "such a good son" and "you'd want to call him an angel."

The drama is an original work by screenwriter Yoshikazu Okada, known for the "Second to Last Love" series. It is a home comedy about three families living in a retro apartment building, with Kitamura and Nakama playing a married couple. This is Kitamura's first lead role in a prime-time terrestrial TV drama.
Jun is the eldest son of the Ogura family. He is currently working as a firefighter and lives in a dormitory. He is a polite, honest young man who treats everyone kindly.
In the morning, after seeing Wataru off, Ann slowly ground the beans and made coffee. After enjoying the gorgeous aroma and tasting the coffee, Ann excitedly sent messages to each of them asking, "Are you okay? Are you doing well?"
Immediately afterwards, he received a reply: "It's okay. There's a heavy rain warning, so be careful." Ann thought to himself, "What a good son. You're like an angel." When he requested that he miss his mother's yakisoba, he replied with high enthusiasm, "I'll be waiting anytime."
