The first episode of the TBS Tuesday drama "Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo It" (Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actors Kaho and Ryoma Takeuchi, aired on October 7th. The scene in which Takeuchi's character, Katsuo Ebihara, disses "homemade bento" became a hot topic on social media.

The original work is a manga of the same name by Natsuko Taniguchi, currently being serialized in the digital comic magazine "Comic Tanto" (Bunkasha). Yamagishi Ayumi (Kaho), who always puts her lover first, and Ebihara Katsuo, a patriarchal man who believes that "it's only natural for a woman to cook!", have been dating since their university days. After living together, Katsuo proposed marriage, but Ayumi's response was an unexpected "no way." Through cooking, Katsuo reexamines the things he took for granted and grows as a person.
Katsuo eats Ayumi's elaborate home-cooked meals every day. One day, they went to the zoo together. They spread out a picnic blanket in the park and ate the lunch Ayumi had made for them. Katsuo was delighted, saying, "This is delicious!" Ayumi smiled and said, "Really? I'm glad I got up early to make this for you."
Seeing the colorful bento box filled with homemade side dishes, Katsuo was impressed and said, "This is truly a homemade bento." He then stated his opinion, "Even if you say it's homemade, most of them are frozen food, right? That's a shortcut. That's not a homemade bento. It's a thawed bento!" Ayumi could only reply, "That's true."
On social media, comments such as "What the hell is a defrosted bento?", "Defrosted bento lol, have you no sense of tact?", "It's too much to make fun of defrosted bento lol", and "By the way, I always get defrosted bento!!" were posted.
