The "Baki" series is a fighting manga that depicts the battles between fighters such as underground arena champion Baki Hanma and Baki's father, Yujiro Hanma, who is known as "the strongest creature on earth." The first part, "Grappler Baki," began serialization in 1991 in "Weekly Shonen Champion." The latest installment in the series, "Baki Rahen," is currently being serialized in the same magazine. The series has sold over 85 million copies in total.
The anime series "Baki" and "Baki Hanma" are currently streaming on Netflix. It's also garnering attention that the anime series "Baki-Dou," based on the fourth part of the series, will be exclusively released worldwide on Netflix in 2026.
