It has been revealed that Noa, the eldest daughter of TV personality Tsuji Nozomi and a high school senior influencer, will be making her voice acting debut in the TV anime "Punirunzu Puni 3." The series is based on Takara Tomy's popular toy "Punirunzu," for which Noa is the official ambassador, and she will play Fairun, a notable character with an important role in the third season of the anime. She will appear in episode 21, "Fairun Sparkrun♪," which will air on November 22nd.
Noa commented, "This was my first time working as a voice actor, and since I started without knowing anything, it was extremely difficult to figure out how to use my voice and express myself. I thought hard about things like, 'What kind of girl is Fairun?' and 'What kind of voice does she have?' and acted while imagining. It was really difficult to express so many emotions using just the line 'puni' rather than Japanese words, and the hardest part was expressing it in two letters, like the 'puni' that means a little anxious, or the 'puni' that means happy, 'yay!' I worked really hard, so I hope everyone will watch it!"
Regarding the appeal of the TV anime "Punirunzu," she said, "I originally played with a Punirunzu toy. I don't think any other toy has given me the feeling of being able to put my finger inside the body and 'touch the character,' so I really enjoyed that. There are lots of characters in the anime. When I watched it, my imagination really ran wild, thinking, 'This girl has this kind of personality,' or 'Was that what her voice was like?' and I really got a sense of each character. Above all, they're so squishy and cute, so I felt very relaxed while acting."
In episode 21, where Fairun, played by Noa, makes her first appearance, a gift campaign will be held for viewers. One lucky winner will receive a script signed by Noa and a "Punirunzu Punistar" toy.
"Punirunzu" is a toy that lets you feel as if you are touching the characters directly. You raise mysterious creatures called Punirunzu.
