The sixth episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Akari Takaishi , was broadcast on October 6th, and viewers were drawn to the interaction between Toki's (Takaishi) mother, Fumi ( Chizuru Ikewaki), and her relative, Ushimizu Tae (Keiko Kitagawa).
In the sixth episode, Toki, who is trying to get married to escape poverty, invites Chiyo (Anna Kurasawa) and Sen (Adachi Kino) to Yaegaki Shrine, famous for matchmaking, to have their love fortunes read. They make a boat with coins on top of paper, and the speed and distance at which the boat sinks determines their chances of success. However, Toki's boat is carried to the other side and does not sink easily. Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe) and Fumi encourage the dejected Toki, and they rush around looking for a matchmaking partner, but they have no luck finding one.
Meanwhile, Fumi visits the Ushimizu family and asks Tae, "I'm very sorry, but I've come to ask you if you could find a good marriage proposal for Otoki." Fumi confesses that she had been planning to ask the Ushimizu family for permission as soon as she found a partner, but she hasn't been able to find a good one yet.
Tae then revealed, "I know that. I heard from Shinichi Tsutsumi that O-Toki is feeling down about it. So I have already started looking for a suitable partner." Fumi was surprised and asked, "Already?", before muttering meaningfully, "Is that so...?" Tae asked, "What is it?" Fumi replied, "In that case, I wish you had told me earlier. As the child's mother, I think so." Tae looked taken aback and apologized, saying, "Well... I got ahead of myself."
Comments on social media about the exchange between Fumi and Tae included, "It's very meaningful," "Is there some kind of secret?", "It seems like something is going on between Fumi and Tae," "I wonder what's going on between these two," "Could it be...? But what is that...?", "What kind of relationship is it? Is it something that involves the past, or will affect the future?", and "Fumi always takes a step back when interacting with Tae, but as Toki's mother, she says what she has to say."
