The 25th and final episode of the TV anime "Witch Watch," based on the popular manga by Kenta Shinohara currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), "The Novice Witch and Her Familiars," will be broadcast on October 5th in the MBS/TBS Sunday 5pm anime slot "Nichi 5."
The Asunaro Festival is coming up soon. Nico's class is using Nico's unique magic to create a concept cafe called "Haunted Cafe," where people can spend a magical time inside a store filled with ghosts. While everyone is getting ready, Nico is asked by the cultural festival executive committee if she can use magic at the closing ceremony. Meanwhile, Morihito is invited by Kanshi to perform a manzai comedy routine on the entertainment stage with him.
"Witch Watch" is a manga by Shinohara, known for "SKET DANCE" and "Astra Lost in Space," which began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in February 2021. It is a fantastical "magical" comedy depicting the cohabitation life of Wakatsuki Nico, a girl training to become a witch, and her childhood friend, Otogi Morihito (Morihito), a high school student with the powers of a demon. Morihito is tasked with protecting Nico from a prophesied disaster as a familiar, and so begins a mysterious and arduous journey. The anime will be directed by Ikehata Hiroshi, known for "Kiratto Pri☆Chan," and produced by Vibury Animation Studio, known for "The Quintessential Quintuplets ∫∫."
