Koji Mukai of the popular group "Snow Man" appeared at the "TBS DRAMA COLLECTION 2025 Autumn" joint production presentation for TBS's October dramas held in Tokyo on October 4th. Mukai, who will be appearing in the drama series "Fake Kummy" (Fridays at 10 PM, starting October 10th), was asked by Maehara Mizuki, who will be appearing in the drama series "Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo It" (Tuesdays at 10 PM, starting October 7th), "How can I get into Snow Man?" Mukai responded with "First, I need to go through the document screening," drawing laughter.
Maehara, who was standing between Snow Man's Mukai and Ren Meguro, continued to speak, "Even though I've come this far, do I still have to go through the paperwork?" Mukai asked, "Meguro, what do you think?" Meguro replied firmly, "Um... sorry! I can't enter." Mukai nodded and said, "The nine of us have already solidified."
During the Q&A session, Mukai asked the panelists, "How do you memorize your lines?" Mukai, who is not good at memorizing lines, replied, "I asked Meguro about it, and he said, 'I memorize my lines by walking around the house.' So I do exactly what he told me. I read my lines while walking."
"Fake Kumamy" is a drama series based on the winning work by Sonomura Mitsuru, who won the grand prize at the first TBS NEXT WRITERS CHALLENGE screenplay competition. Hanamura Kaoru (Haru) suddenly quits her job and struggles to find a new one. After an interview with the venture company "RAINBOWLAB," she meets Hidaka Mamie (Rina Kawaei), the company's president and a single mother. She is asked to act as a substitute for her daughter, who is applying to a prestigious private elementary school.
The event was also attended by Satoshi Tsumabuki, Meguro, Wakana Matsumoto, and Koichi Sato, who appear in the Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sundays at 9pm, starting October 12th), Kaho, Takeuchi Ryoma, and Aoki Yu, who appear in the drama series "Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo It," and Haru, Kawaei, and Yuzu Aoki Aoi, who appear in the drama series "Fake Mummy."
