The fifth episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Akari Takaishi , was broadcast on October 3rd, and the baton was passed from Miharu Fukuchi, who played the heroine Toki's childhood, to Akari Takaishi, who plays the main character, and many viewers have expressed their sadness at the farewell.
The fifth episode begins in 1886, and features Toki (played by Takaishi), now 18 years old. Toki is working at a weaving factory run by his relative Den Ushimizu(played by Shinichi Tsutsumi) to pay off his debts, and the Matsuno family has moved from their previous home to a tenement house across the river.
One day, debt collector Moriyama Zentaro (Iwatani Kenji) comes to collect the debt early in the morning and says that if Toki cannot pay back the debt, he will make her work in a brothel. Kan'emon (Fumiyo Kohinata) becomes furious and chases Moriyama away. Toki suggests, "Why don't I get a husband? If I get a husband, I can increase the number of workers and pay back my debt. That's the only way to get out of this miserable life."
With Takaishi appearing at the beginning, Fukuchi's "exit" became clear, and many viewers expressed their loss. Comments on social media included, "Childhood ended in the blink of an eye," "It ended in just four days... didn't it go by quickly?", "Chibi Toki is over, she was so cute," "I wanted to watch it longer," "I'm crying because Miharu Fukuchi is no longer with us," "The child actor was so good and cute that I'm suddenly missing her now," "I guess it's time to say goodbye to baby Toki-chan~ Of course I'm happy that Akari Takaishi Akari is back, but Miharu Fukuchi Miharu was also so good, so I'll miss her," and "Thank you for your wonderful acting!"
