Introducing Toki's father, Tsukasanosuke Matsuno, from the Asadora"Bakebake "

The NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM) starring Akari Takaishi will begin airing on September 29th. The story follows the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as she and her foreign husband go about their everyday lives. Here, we introduce Tsukasanosuke Matsuno , played by Takashi Okabe .

" Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. The heroine, Toki Matsuno, and her husband, Lefkada Heaven, are based on Setsu Koizumi, the daughter of a fallen samurai from Matsue, and Lafcadio Hearn(Yakumo Koizumi ). The drama boldly reconstructs the characters, changing some of the names of characters and organizations to create a fictional portrayal.

The story is not based on an original work, but is an original work by screenwriter Fujiki Mitsuhiko, who has worked on NHK's drama "Asagaya Sisters' Relaxed Life" and WOWOW's "Shooting Break Series." The music will be composed by Kensuke Ushio, who has also worked on TV anime " Dandadan" and "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (Chi: Chikyu no Undo ni Tsuite). Tsukasanosuke Matsuno is Toki's father. He was a high-ranking samurai in the Matsue domain, but when the Meiji era began, he lost his income and lived a difficult life of poverty. He struggles despite his clumsiness for his beloved family. He wants Toki to say he's cool!

Okabe, who plays Tsukasanosuke , will play the heroine's father in the Asadora , following " The Tiger and Her Wings " (first half of 2024).
