To commemorate the final chapter of Yasuo Ohtagaki's manga Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, which will be published in the serialized magazine Big Comic Superior (Shogakukan) in issue 20 on September 26th, the manga site Bikkomi (published by Shogakukan) has started a campaign to offer all chapters for free. The campaign will run for 48 hours only, until September 25th.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt" is a manga by Otagaki, who is known for works such as "MOONLIGHT MILE," and began serialization in "Big Comic Superior" in 2012. It depicts the battle between the Earth Federation Forces and the Principality of Zeon in the Thunderbolt sector during the One Year War, as well as the battles between the Zeon remnants, the Federation, and the South Seas Alliance after the One Year War.
It has gained popularity through being made into an anime and a plastic model. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 5.5 million. The series will end after about 13 years of serialization.
