After somehow clearing numerous trials, Yaiba finally reaches the final one. There, he finds the comrades he thought he had lost and the Dragon God's Jewel, the most powerful orb in history, waiting for him. The Dragon God's final test is a decision: either "Save your comrades and lose the Dragon God's Jewel," or "Abandon your comrades and obtain the Dragon God's Jewel."
"YAIBA" is a swordplay action manga that Aoyama serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) from 1988 to 1993, before " Detective Conan" began serialization. It depicts the exploits of Yaiba Kurogane, an unconventional young swordsman who trains in the jungle with his father. The story follows Tetsujin, who returns to Japan by chance and makes great strides in his quest to become even stronger in a new training ground. The script for the new anime will be fully supervised by Aoyama, the original author. It will be produced by WIT STUDIO, known for "Attack on Titan" and "SPY x FAMILY".
