TV personality Koji Imada, freelance announcer Akira Fukuzawa, and former Sakurazaka46 member Yuka Sugai are the hosts of the variety show "Kaiun! Nandemo Kanteidan" (TV Tokyo, Tuesdays 8:54pm). On September 16th, a painting by the Japanese painting master Kaii Higashiyama, which was purchased for 45 million yen, will be featured as a "treasure."
The client had been running a club in Gion, Kyoto for 30 years. At the age of 29, he borrowed 500 million yen from the bank to start the club, which has since grown into a popular club frequented by celebrities.
The treasure is a painting by Kaii Higashiyama that he purchased for 45 million yen from the gallery when he opened his shop (40 years ago) in the hopes of providing customers with first-class items. As he is getting older, he would like to sell it to someone who likes it, but before doing so, he reveals that he would like to know its current value.
