This was a significant recovery from the previous week's episode, which had a household rating of 7.9% and an individual rating of 4.9%.
The drama is based on the manga " The 19th medical record Tokushige's Medical Interview" by Katsuhito Fujiya. It depicts a general practitioner who not only treats illnesses but also lends a hand to patients' lifestyles. This is Matsumoto's first time playing a doctor, and the cast also includes Fuka Koshiba and Mackenyu. The script was written by Aya Tsubota, who also wrote the "Kounodori" series (same channel).
In the final episode, Tokushige (Matsumoto) discovers that Akaike (Tanaka Min) has a serious illness. However, upon waking up, Akaike declares his silence. Denied the option of medical interviews and treatment, Tokushige makes a surprising decision to save Akaike.
