Mr. Osomatsu anime 10th anniversary visual released

A visual has been released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the popular anime "Mr. Osomatsu" on October 6th this year. The visual was drawn by Eiji Yasuhiko, who was the character designer for the third and fourth seasons, and depicts the five characters - Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Osomatsu, Ichimatsu, and Todomatsu- standing on a pedestal with the words "10th ANNIVERSARY" written on it, with Jyushimatsu held high in the center.

Details of the 10th anniversary opening screening and commemorative events have also been announced. On October 6th, Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) will hold the "Gather on October 6th! Mr. Osomatsu 10th Anniversary Opening Commemorative Nearly 6-Hour Screening!!!!!!" event. In addition to screening the entire fourth season, which is currently airing, an opening ceremony is also planned, with speakers and details to be announced in the future.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations , Miyu Irino , who plays Todomatsu , has announced that the third installment of his " Miyu Irino Goods Development Room" project will be implemented, and a new video has been released. "We've been able to get this far thanks to the power of the series, the staff, the cast, and everyone else. Thank you very much!" he said, adding enthusiastically, "As it's the 10th anniversary, the Goods Development Room will also be working hard to create something even better than before."

"Mr. Osomatsu" is based on Fujio Akatsuka's comedy manga "Osomatsu kun." It depicts the daily lives of the sextuplets as adults, and its extreme humor has made it popular among female anime fans.

The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2015 to March 2016, the second from October 2017 to March 2018, and the third from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie "Osomatsu San Movie : The Hippipo Tribe and the Shining Fruit," was released in theaters in July 2022, and the second, "Mr. Osomatsu: The Soulful Takoyaki Party and the Legendary Sleepover," was released in theaters in July 2023. The fourth season of the TV anime is currently airing on TV Tokyo.
