Maon Kurosaki & ALTIMA medley to be performed at Anisama 2025

On August 29th, the first day of "Animelo Summer Live (Anisama) 2025 'ThanXX!'," a large-scale anime song live event currently being held at Saitama Super Arena (Chuo Ward, Saitama City), the "Maon Kurosaki & ALTIMA Medley" was performed. Singer-songwriter KOTOKO and music unit fripSide performed a medley of songs by Maon Kurosaki, who passed away in 2023, and the music unit ALTIMA, of which Kurosaki was a member as "MAON." ALTIMA member MOTSU also made a surprise appearance.

KOTOKO, Uesugi Mao, and Abe Toshiyo performed "Wings of Paradise," the opening theme for the TV anime "The Fruit of Grisaia," and "X-encounter," the opening theme for the TV anime "Tokyo Ravens." MOTSU then made a surprise appearance, and together with KOTOKO, Uesugi, and SAT, they performed "PLASMIC FIRE," the theme song for the theatrical anime "Accel World INFINITE∞BURST."

Next, Uesugi, SAT, and MOTSU performed "I'll believe," the ending theme for the TV anime "Shakugan no Shana III-FINAL-," and Abe, SAT, and MOTSU performed "CYBER CYBER."

Towards the end of the medley, they performed "Gravitation," the opening theme for the TV anime "A Certain Magical Index Index III," and "Memories Last," the new ending theme for the TV anime "A Certain Magical Index II," which erupted in thunderous cheers that shook the venue.

Anisama is an anime song festival that began in 2005 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This year's event is scheduled to be held from August 29th to 31st, and will feature a total of 50 artists.
