It has been revealed that Kaito Takahashi of the popular group King & Prince will not be appearing on the live broadcast of "24 Hour TV 48 - Love Saves the Earth" (NTV) on August 30th and 31st due to poor health. Takahashi, who serves as a charity partner, is producing "Borderless LIVE We are the No Borders!!", which will be broadcast at 7pm on August 31st and will feature Genta Matsuda of Travis Japan.
"Borderless LIVE We are the No Borders!!" is a one-night-only special live performance featuring Takahashi, who boasts approximately 20 years of dance experience and is praised by many for his outstanding expressiveness in the entertainment industry. A total of 96 performers from Japan and abroad, including charity partners Kiyoshi Hikawa and Danjuro Ichikawa, will perform.
This year's 24-Hour TV has the theme "Tell me about yourself," and will be broadcast from the main venue, Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumida Ward, Tokyo). The general hosts will be Ueda Shinya, Hatori Shinichi, and announcer Miura. Charity partners will be King & Prince, Jun Shison Jun, Nagashima Kazushige, Hamabe Minami, Hikawa, and Yasuko. Yokoyama Yu from the popular group SUPER EIGHT will serve as the charity runner. The program will air from 6:30 PM on August 30th to 8:54 PM on the 31st.
