A new TV commercial for Softbank's "Paytoku," "The Shiroto Family: Dad Saves a Lot," and a new web commercial, "The Shiroto Family Saves a Lot," starring actress Aya Ueto and child Yuno Nagao Nagao, were released on August 27th. The web commercial will air from August 27th, and the TV commercial will air from August 29th.
The filming of this commercial saw the Shirato family, including Kanako Higuchi, Dante Carver, and the dog's father, all gather together for the first time in a long while. Dante was whispering secrets with Higuchi, and the atmosphere quickly became friendly and harmonious as a "family."
Nagao has naturally blended into the Shirato family's filming as if he were a member of the family, and has now become an indispensable presence. Nagao's unique method of memorizing lines created excitement on set. He moves his body as if dancing while reciting his lines, and memorizes them in rhythm, and Nagao and Higuchi immediately tried it out together. There was even a scene where Higuchi purposely made a mistake in his lines and asked Nagao to repeat the same lines over and over, and it seems that the shoot was full of smiles from start to finish.
The new TV commercial shows the Shirato family and Yuzuno finishing a meal at a restaurant, only to find themselves thrown off balance by her father's behavior at the cash register. When it's time to pay, her father casually goes to the bathroom. Instead, just as Aya (Ueto) tries to pay with PayPay, her father suddenly returns, asking, "You can't use PayPay?" He then confidently finishes the payment, saying, "I guess I'll just pay for everything..." He manages to get a ton of PayPay points, leading Yuzuno to chime in, saying, "There are people like that, don't you think?"
In the new web commercial, Aya and her friends give a surprise gift to their mother (played by Higuchi) to show their gratitude, but her mother responds, "You bought it because you could earn a lot of PayPay points, right?" Interview footage of Ueto, Higuchi, and Nagao was also released along with the commercial.
