It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "A Lazy Farmer in Another World," based on the popular light novel by Kinosuke Naito, which is published on the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Naro," will be produced and will air in 2026.
A teaser visual depicting Hiraku, Lu, and Tia walking happily together in Taiki Village and a teaser PV with the memorable line "Welcome back" were released. It was also announced that the first game, "A Lazy Farmer in Another World: Dreamy Life," will be produced.
The story is a "slow-life farming fantasy" about a young man named Hiraku who dies young after a long illness, but is given a versatile farming tool by a god and transported to another world, where he uses the knowledge from his previous life to live a second life. The original series has sold over 5.7 million copies. The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2023.
