" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living welling up from your whole body, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In episode 106, Takashi (Kitamura) was feeling down because his drawing of a fat man handing out Anpan buns wasn't appreciated. Nobu (Imada) encouraged Takashi by saying that he liked the man's drawing.
Meanwhile, Taka bumps into Meiko (Nanoka Hara) at a cafe and tells her to keep their meeting a secret from Nobu. One month later, it's Nobu's birthday. Nobu can't hide his shock when Meiko, who has come to celebrate, tells him that Taka told her to keep it a secret. Then Taka returns... Scene cuts have also been released.
