" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living welling up from your whole body, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."

In episode 89, Nobu (Imada) and Taka (Takumi Kitamura) move into a tenement house in Nakameguro. When Taka returns home soaked in the rain to find a hole in the ceiling of the shared bathroom, Nobu laughs and wipes his hair.

The two then look at each other. Then, Sera (Kihara Katsutoshi) comes in and tells Nobu to stay at the office for the time being and answer the phone. Scene cuts have also been released.
