"Broadcasting Station Occupy" "Hot Water Bath" appears! "Mikawa" Kitadai Takashi's "Don't push it" is a hot topic

The second episode of the TV drama series "Broadcasting Station Occupy" (Nippon TV, Saturday 9:00 pm), starring Sakurai Sho, was broadcast on July 19th. In the episode, there was a scene in which Tokyo gubernatorial candidate Mikawa Ryutaro (Kitadai Takashi), who is being held hostage by the armed group "Yokai", is placed in a "deadly hot water bath", which caused a stir on social media.

In the second episode, an unidentified armed group wearing monster masks takes over a huge TV station broadcasting a special program for the Tokyo gubernatorial election. They blockade the building and take 500 people, including the gubernatorial candidate and program staff, hostage.

Detectives Saburo Musashi (Sakurai) and Izumi (Sonin), who were present at the scene, try to get Yuko (Manami Higa) and Emiri (Yoshida Honoka) out of the house, but Izumi is shot by the "Tengu". Musashi leaves the fallen Izumi in Yuko's care and runs off with Emiri.

Honjo (Kumi Takiuchi) and the rest of the on-site command headquarters discover a way to infiltrate the TV station, and security chief Yashiro (Takahashi Katsunori) sends in SAT members. Behind the scenes, the plan of the Blue Demon Yamato (Fuma Kikuchi), who escaped from the detention center, is quietly in motion.

Meanwhile, You narrowed down the hostages to 13 and released the rest, then took over the program and began a live broadcast...and so things unfolded.

Hannya appoints Musashi as the negotiator, saying that one of the hostages, Mikawa, the representative and coach of a prestigious soccer school, has a "hidden darkness" and demands that Musashi expose it. The demons then instruct Mikawa to stand on the "hot water bath of death," which is set to rise from 40 degrees by one degree every two minutes. Threatened with a gun and urged by the demons, Mikawa gets on all fours on the "hot water bath of death" while frightened and cries "Don't push, don't push!", and weakly says again "Don't push."

On social media, the use of the familiar phrase "Don't push" from the comedy duo Dachou Club in the hot water bath became a hot topic. Comments like "We're in the hot water bath!", "They clearly said not to push it (laughs)", "Don't push it, stop (laughs)", "It's not supposed to be funny but I couldn't help it" and "Don't push it lol" were posted and the post attracted a lot of attention.
