It has been announced that the summer vacation special project "SPY×FAMILY Operation Podcast Summer Special" of the TV anime "SPY×FAMILY", based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+", will be distributed on YouTube's TOHO animation channel and other channels every Monday at 7pm starting August 4th. It will be distributed ahead of the broadcast of season 3 in October.
The series consists of four episodes, and the first two will feature Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger , Natsumi Fujiwara as Damien Desmond, and Emiri Kato as Becky Blackbell, while the last two will feature Takuya Eguchi as Lloyd Forger of the Forger family, Tanezaki as Anya Forger , Saori Hayami as Yor Forger , and Kenichirou Matsuda as Bond Forger .
"SPY×FAMILY" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in March 2019. The story is about a skilled spy who creates a temporary family for his mission and starts a new life. The first cour of season 1 of the TV anime aired from April to June 2022, the second cour from October to December of the same year, and season 2 from October to December 2023.
The animated film " Spy × Family Code: White" was released in December 2023 and was a huge hit, grossing 6.26 billion yen and attracting over 4.64 million viewers. The comic series has sold over 38 million copies in total.
